666 on the Sunset Strip

About

HOLLYWOOD, 1973. ON THE SUNSET STRIP, THEY DON'T JUST KILL THE MUSIC — THEY KILL FOR IT.

Sex, Satan, and loud guitars are big business.

Tommy Dougan is supposed to be covering the death of a union strikebreaker for the L.A. Wave. Instead, he finds a dead girl in an alley — acid poured in her ear, and three words scrawled on the wall above her: MUSIC KILLS.

LAPD calls it hitchhiking gone bad. Case closed.

Tommy can't stop staring at the club opening next door.

Club 666.

The owner swears the occult act is just hype — window dressing to sell tickets, nothing more. But Tommy's heard the voices buried in the music. He's dug through the Strip's bloody history, and what happened on this exact ground before. Something is still down there. And it's waiting for opening night.

The problem is, nobody reads an underground paper.

And nobody on the Strip wants the music to stop.
