Kindle Blog Review: Mashable

In: Things I Like

4 May 2010

I love to read blogs but since I spend all day writing them, I don’t generally feel like sitting at the computer to read them in my free time. Solution – Blogs on Kindle. They download automatically, so I can read at home on the couch or in the doctor’s waiting room.

First up is Mashable

Mashable covers social media news but even more importantly, they provide great tips for making the most of your social media experience.  I do social media marketing for a number of websites and I’m always finding a better way to do things on Mashable.

The Kindle version of the blog is easy to read and well organized. You get the full context and images so you don’t have to be connected to read your issue. If you are connected, each post has a series of additional reading links at the bottom and I’ve discovered some of the best content by flipping through these links.

Recent stories include:

You’ll also find the latest news about Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube and the whole social media biz. It’s the must have blog for anyone into social marketing or with an interest in the Internet. It’s even a fascinating read for sociologists who want to study how we all get along.

Mashable is .99 cents a month and you can get it by clicking right here.
